_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     These are partly contrived data from Kmenta (1986), constructed to
     illustrate estimation of a simultaneous-equation model.

     The 'Kmenta' data frame has 20 rows and 5 columns.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     data(Kmenta)

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     This data frame contains the following columns:

     _Q food consumption per capita.

     _P ratio of food prices to general consumer prices.

     _D disposable income in constant dollars.

     _F ratio of preceding year's prices received by farmers to general
          consumer prices.

     _A time in years.

_D_e_t_a_i_l_s:

     The exogenous variables 'D', 'F', and 'A' are based on real data;
     the endogenous variables 'P' and 'Q' were generated by simulation.

_S_o_u_r_c_e:

     Kmenta, J. (1986) _Elements of Econometrics, Second Edition_,
     Macmillan.
