_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

Functions to extract a channel from a stereo 'Wave' object, and to
join channels of two monophonic 'Wave' objects to a stereophonic
     one.

_U_s_a_g_e:

     mono(object, which = c("left", "right"))
     stereo(left, right)

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

  object: Object of class 'Wave'.

which: Character, indicating whether the "left" or "right" channel
          should be extracted.

left: Object of class 'Wave' containing 'mono'phonic sound, to be
          used for the left channel.

right: Object of class 'Wave' containing 'mono'phonic sound, to be
          used for the right channel.

_V_a_l_u_e:

     An object of class 'Wave'.
